Since 1972, our Eye Bank has provided high quality services to the visually impaired through the recovery, testing, and distribution of corneas.   The Lone Star Lions Eye Bank service area covers 36 Central Texas Counties and has established relationships with hospitals, trauma centers, law enforcement agencies, morticians, county coroners, and other community agencies throughout the area.  Today, we’ll hear a message about the history of Eye Banking and the current status of our Lone Star Lions Eye Bank.
