While attending college at Southwestern University in Georgetown  Jim worked part-time as a disc jockey at the old KGTN radio station.  For two weeks every summer\, when the general manager was on vacation\, Jim would take to the microphone as an anchor and news reporter.  It was there that he got the “bug” for reporting the news.\n\n     Come hear reporter Jim Swift speak to our club about some of the crazy\, and not so crazy\, stories that he’s reported on since 1977.\n
