Soon after getting here she was lead vocalist for several of the Top and best known bands in the area. She led Rotel & the Hot Tomatoes\, Big Time\, and soon had her own band Apaches of Paris. \n\nDuring this time\, Julieann won several awards and accolades including "Best Female Vocalist"(winner multiple times)\, "Best New Band"\, "Best Party Band" as well as numerous awards for songwriting.\n\nA number of years ago she had to go back to the Shreveport area to help her mother and family. Julieann is now back and making a name for herself again in Austin!\n\nCurrently she is the Bass Player and Vocalist for the well known\, longtime band\, The Austin Lounge Lizards. When she isn't on tour with the Lizards\, she heads up The Activates!\n\nShe will be singing some of her older original songs\, some "Old Standards" as well as some new material from her newest album. (She'll even do requests!)\, and can answer questions on the making of a music album/CD.
