Amanda Delong-Amaya from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will tell us about the center and its current work to preserve and promote native wildflowers. She will have some spectacular scenery for us to view.

Two-fer - Texas Lions Camp and Leader Dog. PDG Hal Griffin from Abilene is the Immediate Past President of the Camp. His wife Sandy is a Leader Dog "mom" and will have a puppy with her.

KXAN Co-Anchor Michelle Valles. Michelle graduated from The University of Texas and finally made her way back to Austin in 2003. Last year we heard from Robert Hadlock and this year we are honored to hear from Michelle.

Mary Gordon Spence should be one of our highlight programs. She is a humorist, writer, teacher, musician, etc). She writes for the American Statesman and a number of periodicals, both state wide and national. She does a show on KUT Public Radio. She speaks on a statewide and national basis and is much in demand as a speaker. Our members will have many good laughs, but she will have a serious thought ,or two, in the process. (Wes Braden is the presenter this week)
