Maintaining Health:
Traditional Chinese Constitutional Medicine

introduced by Lion Paul Spaar

The ideal of health is a body in balance. A body in balance prevents illness, and in a world where preventative medicine typically means adding one more pill to an ever growing pile and hoping the benefits outweigh the side effects, traditional Chinese medicine offers a simple and refreshing view. By working with the body's natural tendencies and recognizing our inborn natures it is possible to truly maintain our health in a vital and active way. Join Licensed Acupuncturist Justin Phillips as he shares the principles underlying the Chinese view of constitution and how it affects you and your health on a day to day base, and more importantly, what you can do correct problems before they even arise.

Justin Phillips, LAc. received his training at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA, one of the oldest and most respected schools of Chinese Medicine in the country. In addition to a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Justin is both Texas Licensed and Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism. He practices with Austin Integrative Medicine, a medical group focused on bringing the best of a full integrative approach to medicine to each and every patient. There Justin provides acupuncture, herbal consultation, energetic testing, and instruction in qi gong and other energy works. For more on Justin visit his website at www.stonegatewellness.com
