Award Presentation to Honor AISD Schools and their Lion Namesakes

Come join us for an awards presentation to the schools named after our Lion Leaders

December 10, 2015

Introduced by Lions Tommy Cowan 

Featured speakers will include Founder Lions and the Principals for each school named after our beloved club members.

Included schools are Boone Elementary, Cowan Elementary, Kocurek Elementary, Pickle Elementary, Widen Elementary, and Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy. 

We will be featuring a short history of each school’s distinguished Lion namesake(s), and then introducing the principals of each school, who will give us an update about their campuses. 

To conclude, we will be gifting each school $500, to be used to support their projects and activities. Please come and help us celebrate education and the great work our members have done through the years preparing our youth for the future.
