Hindu Charities for America (HC4A) is a registered non-denominational charitable organization helping economically disadvantaged students since 2010.

HC4A has two Programs developed working with Texas Homeless Education Office:

  1. Annual donation of School Supplies to Homeless Children with Jewish Community

  2. Vocational Training Scholarships for economically disadvantaged students

About our speaker: 
Dinesh Vakharia is the Vice-President of Hindu Charities for America (HC4A). He has been with HC4A for last 6 years, and works on all aspects of the charity work. His main focus is fund raising and awarding educational scholarships.

Dinesh came to America from India in August of 1967. He holds Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and MBA from SUNY Binghamton. After completing his education, Dinesh has worked for many companies in the technical field. His longest service was with IBM for 28 years. Dinesh moved to Texas in 1977 and has made Texas his home.

Dinesh lives in Round Rock with his wife Meena. He has two grown up children and three grandchildren. Meena worked as a school teacher in RRISD. After his retirement, Dinesh has been very active in community service projects. Dinesh loves to give back to the community that gave him an opportunity to live the American dream. Dinesh is the co-founder of Chinmaya Mission of Austin, a religious/spiritual organization in Austin. Dinesh and his family love to travel, play bridge and spend time with family and friends.

We order meals based on your reservations and must pay for them even if you do not show up.
