Speaker's Bio:

Reid Ryan, Round Rock Express Reid Ryan is the 38-year old President and C.E.O. of Ryan Sanders Baseball, Inc. A graduate of Texas Christian University, Ryan is credited with the idea of creating the Round Rock Express and Corpus Christi Hooks baseball clubs. He is actively involved in both of the Houston Astros' top farm clubs, serving as Founder and C.E.O. for both the Express and the Hooks.

Ryan oversaw the design and development of both the Dell Diamond complex, home of the Triple-A Express in Round Rock, and Whataburger Field, home of the Double-A Hooks in Corpus Christi.

Ryan is involved in many other business ventures including real estate, banking and the restaurant industry. He serves as a director and organizer of a new community bank in Round Rock, R Bank and is a partner behind the Texas expansion of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Ryan enjoys giving back to both Central and South Texas. He has served on numerous non-profit boards and helped to raise more than $500,000 for charity in the greater Austin and Corpus Christi markets. He currently serves on the advisory board for Ride on Center for Kids and the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute. He recently worked closely with the Miracle League on the initial design phase for a special playing field in Corpus Christi like the Express Miracle League Field that was completed in Austin in 2007.

The Miracle League is a non-profit baseball league that features specially designed facilities for kids with mental and physical disabilities. The Miracle League allows all kids to enjoy the fun of playing baseball and being on a team of their own.

Another rewarding outlet Ryan enjoys is coaching youth sports in the Round Rock area. No matter if it is football, baseball, softball or soccer, his mantra is helping kids achieve their goals all while having fun in the process.

Ryan and his wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of one son, 10-year-old Jackson, and two daughters, 8-year-old Victoria and 5-year-old Ella. The family lives in Georgetown and enjoys spending free time with family and friends at the family ranch, watching sporting events and traveling.
