David WeinbergSpeakers Bio's: 
David Weinberg is the Executive Director of the Texas League of Conservation Voters, a statewide environmental organization which works to preserve and enhance the quality of life of Texans by making conservation a top priority with Texas elected officials, political candidates and voters. He has held the position since the fall of 2009. Prior to his position at TLCV, David worked in environmental advocacy and state politics in New York State. In environmental advocacy, he held positions with Consumers Union and the New York Public Interest Research Group. In state politics, David was Chief of Staff for New York State Representative Linda Rosenthal. He holds a Masters of Public Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's Degree in Politics from Earlham College. David and his wife, Jennifer Laurin, a Criminal Law Professor at the University of Texas Law School, lives in Austin with their 1-year old daughter Eliza.


Kinnan GolemanKinnan Goleman, a USA nationally recognized leader in the environmental, energy and natural resource law area, is the founder and President of KG Strategies, LLC in Austin, Texas. For over 3 decades, Golemon was a Partner with Brown McCarroll, LLP, a Texas regional law firm, where he was the Senior member of the environmental team practicing in the Austin office. He has over 40 years of providing professional advice, counsel, strategic planning and public advocacy on complex environmental, energy and natural resources issues. For the past decade he has provided governmental affairs representation for the largest shale oil and gas producer in the Barnett Shale Play. The R. Kinnan Golemon Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Environmental Law was established in 1994 at his alma mater, the University of Texas School of Law, by his colleagues and Shell Oil Company. He was a founding member of the State Bar of Texas Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section (Chair in early 1970s) and has held numerous leadership positions within the American Bar Association over the past 30 years, including, being the representative on the Board of Governors, 2009-2012, from the Section of Environment, Energy and Resources Law. He was inducted as an Initial Fellow in American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL)in 2008.
 

Featured Lunch Menu: Chicken with pearl onions and mushrooms with brown gravy and fresh green beans, mixed field green salad with assorted rolls and a featured daily dessert. Vegetarian meal or Grilled Chicken Caesar salad are available alternatives as well.

Please register by noon on Wednesday

We order meals based on your reservations and must pay for them even if you do not show up. Please keep this in mind if your plans shift and cancel your reservation so we can adjust the headcount.
