About our Speaker:

Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4) Anthony Triola retired on January 31, 2014, after serving 24 years, 7 months on active duty.

His military career began in 1989, when Anthony enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as an Intelligence Operations Specialist. Following the attacks of September 11th, 2001, Anthony applied to the United States Army Warrant Officer Candidate School and received his appointment to Warrant Officer 1 in March 2002. He served in the Brigade, Division and Corps levels of command as an All-Source Intelligence Officer. During his military career, Anthony served a total of 33 months in combat; six months during OPERATION DESERT STORM and 27 months in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. His medals include the Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.

The highlight of his career was when Anthony served as the Russia Ground Officer for the European Command as well as an adjunct professor of Russian History and Russian Military History at the Regional Joint Intelligence Training Facility, RAF Molesworth, England, from 2009 to 2012.

For the past four years Anthony has been teaching Russian History at Senior University, which offers a diverse program of classes, lectures, travel activities, and learning opportunities for persons over 50 years of age in and around Georgetown, Texas. Additionally, Anthony is an American Red Cross volunteer, and serves as the Mass Care lead for Central Texas.

Anthony has been married to his wife Sarah since November 2013, and they have one daughter, Madeleine. The Triola family has lived in the City of Georgetown, Texas, since 2017.

For the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, and TSBVI hosts, masks are required when entering and leaving the building all the way to and from the conference room, and are optional when inside the room itself. TSBVI requests we take this precaution for their students, many of whom are medically fragile.

●Sandwich with Gluten Free Bread (Turkey & Provolone and/or Smoked Ham & Swiss).
●Vegetarian Sandwich (Egg Salad and/or Cheese Combo).

All sandwiches come with lettuce and tomato. Mustard and mayo on the side.

We order meals based on your reservations and must pay for them even if you do not show up.
