Professor Andrew Sansom, PhD Introduced by Lion John Nyfeler
About our Speaker:
Andrew Sansom is Research Professor of Geography and Executive Director of The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University where he coordinates the university policy and research related to freshwater resources, manages the headwaters of the San Marcos River, and administers the University’s freshwater environmental education program.
Dr. Sansom is recipient of numerous awards and for his contribution to the environment and for conservation of Texas’s natural resources.
He is former Director of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Executive Director of the Texas Nature Conservancy. Andrew is a distinguished alumnus of Austin College and of Texas Tech University.
