Dottie Watkins, CEO and President of Capital Metro will bring a report on the current status of the Project Connect, its budget, and schedule, and will review its service area’s past voter support for the plan, and recent attention given Project Connect by the current Texas legislative session. She will review of Key Initiatives in need-based improvements of public transportation service quality and in fulfillment of contract compliance.

About our Speaker:

Dottie Watkins serves as the President & CEO of CapMetro, the transit agency serving the greater Austin region. Dottie first began her transit career in 1994 – driving buses part-time while she attended the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to her current role she was the agency's Deputy CEO, and before that Chief Customer Officer/Chief Operating Officer, and before that, CapMetro's Vice President – Bus Operations and Maintenance. She has been responsible for all aspects of the agency's contracted bus operations through active monitoring of service quality and contract compliance.

Dottie holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University. A native Austinite, Dottie regularly enjoys trips to the pool with her daughter and plays French Horn in a local community band.

TSBVI requests we take this precaution for their students, many of whom are medically fragile.

●Turkey & Gruyere; Turkey & Provolone; Roast Beef and Swiss; Smoked Ham & Swiss; Curried Chicken Salad.
●Sandwich with Gluten Free Bread (Turkey & Provolone and/or Smoked Ham & Swiss).
●Vegetarian Sandwich (Egg Salad and/or Cheese Combo).

All sandwiches come with lettuce and tomato. Mustard and mayo on the side.

We order meals based on your reservations and must pay for them even if you do not show up.

Remember that the speed limit at TSBVI is 10 mph.
