My Contribution To The Defeat of Adolph Hitler

Recounting the memories of a childhood during WWII. As my Father's practice was in the heart of the west end of London, we lived some 15 miles to the South East in a suburban area for easy commuting. Unfortunately this was close to a major fighter aerodrome, and on the main German bomber route to the London docks, Woolwich arsenal and the center of the city. This location meant many sleepless nights!

About our Speaker:

After some 35 years in the European textile business, he retired in 1989 and moved to Texas in 1991. After a couple of moves within the area settled in Lago Vista in 2002 and have been there ever since. He enjoys travel and especially the coast, playing golf ("badly but enjoyably"). He is an avid reader of all types of books. Driving is another pleasure along with food. An active member of his Church, he sings in the choir plus is a member of the Hill Country singers.
