At AFLC’s first hybrid meeting on Aug. 17, meet Elliott Merryman-Stewart, who enjoyed a week of residential camp this summer, either in-person or on Zoom. Elliott was sponsored by Austin Founder Lions Club. Having attended family camp previously, she attended her first (and last) week-long residential camp, as she turns 17 next month. She will tell us about her experience. Via video, you’ll also meet Sophia Aguilar, who attended a diabetes camp this summer, also sponsored by AFLC. Her mom Stacie will join us via Zoom and share the impact that TLC had on Sophia and their family. Hopefully, another camper and his mom will be able to join us! Finally, Lion Ann Ward, 2nd vice president of the TLC Board, will share updates from the recent camp board meeting and golf tournament. Come see the difference OUR camp makes in the lives of kids and their families.

For the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, and TSBVI hosts, masks are required when entering and leaving the building all the way to and from the conference room, and are optional when inside the room itself. TSBVI requests we take this precaution for their students, many of whom are medically fragile.

●Sandwich with Gluten Free Bread (Turkey & Provolone and/or Smoked Ham & Swiss).
●Vegetarian Sandwich (Egg Salad and/or Cheese Combo).
All sandwiches come with lettuce and tomato. Mustard and mayo on the side.
