George Preston
Introduced by Lion Mac Ragsdale

KMFA has been serving Austin with classical music since 1967. We are now not only a broadcast and streaming service, but a concert and event venue, serving as a hub for classical and classical-adjacent music in Austin. Learn how KMFA is striding into the future of classical media in Austin, while remaining true to our core mission of connecting listeners with top-quality classical music.

The KMFA team will takes us through their broadcast and performance spaces and demonstrate some of their capabilities. We will tour the main broadcast studio, the beautiful Draylen Mason Music Studio (including a demo of their Steinway Spirio, projection technology, and lighting technology), music library, and other event spaces.
