Reach some of Austin’s best clay shooters and promote your business to the more than 150 entrants and volunteers who participate in Austin Founder Lions Club’s charitable tournament. A broad range of sponsorship opportunities for businesses and others to market their products/services and promote their brand are available. The options include both financial and in-kind contributions. Each package has specific benefits that are commensurate with the financial contribution, and all help support the Lions Club’s charitable activities, including screening the vision of some 3,000 pre-K three- and four-year olds in A.I.S.D. and providing follow-up exams and glasses for those who have vision issues; helping support Texas Lions Camp that serves children with special medical needs; and recycling eyeglasses.

Individuals and companies are invited to field a team of four, each of whom will shoot at 10 different stations. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams in each field using Lewis Class scoring. Top scorer in each field will be recognized. Participants must provide their own guns; only 12- or 20-gauge shotguns are allowed as all shells for the tournament are provided at each station. Participants are not allowed to carry shells on the course. The fee for four shooters – including breakfast, warm-up tickets for each shooter, snacks, lunch and shells – is $1,100. Save $100 if you register by April 10, 2024. Team sponsors will be listed in the program and on the scoreboard.

Tournament Schedule

8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Team check-in, breakfast, Warm-up station open
9:30 a.m. Safety Briefing and Shotgun start
11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Mulligan Station Open
11:15 - 12:00 p.m. Flurry Competition
11:45 a.m. Lunch
12:15 - 1:00 p.m. Recognition and Awards Ceremony

Registration fee includes shooting warm-ups, breakfast, lunch, beverages, snacks and shotgun shells for the shoot-out. Mulligans are available at a cost of $20 each, with a limit of two per shooter..

Participation in the Flurry Competition is $50 per pair of shooters and includes shells. Coordinate shooting with your partner for highest scores as 30 clays are pulled in 60 seconds. On-site registrations will be accepted. For each flurry entry, both participants will receive a chance in a drawing for a special prize.
