The Oldest Form of Hate: Antisemitism

Although one of the oldest forms of hatred, in recent years the Anti-Defamation League has witnessed the number of antisemitic hate incidents skyrocket to levels never before recorded. Learn what antisemitism is, the trends ADL has tracked, and why it matters to you.

About our Speaker:

Angela Atlas is the Director of Development for ADL Austin. Before joining the Austin team in 2017, she worked for seven years in ADL’s Southwest office located in Houston, TX. Starting in education, she has held various roles across ADL’s departments, working in development since 2013.

Angela is a lover of the arts, especially film and has a BA from Emerson College in Visual and Media Arts. A lifelong Longhorn fan, she earned her MBA from the University of Texas, Austin. Although she is a Texas native, she takes great pleasure in traveling. When in Central Texas, she enjoys water activities and lakes, Austin FC games, and hikes through the many greenbelts with her husband, two year old daughter and dog.

Her long tenure at ADL is due to her strong belief in its work to fight hate in all its forms and secure justice and fair treatment for all. Her family is her greatest passion and working to create a more equitable and respectful future is her ultimate goal.
