Erika will be giving an overview of the housing crisis Austin is currently experiencing and the work Austin Habitat for Humanity is doing to combat it. She will provide an explanation of Austin Habitat for Humanity s programs, clients, current and future projects. Come learn how you can play a role in supporting affordable housing in our city and make a lasting impact on the lives of our neighbors to build stronger, more vibrant communities!
About our speaker:
Erika has a background in Visual Design, Marketing, Fundraising and experience teaching social and emotional learning tailored art programs. She has a Bachelors of Science in Visualization from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Her commitment to fundraising excellence led her to pursue further education, earning her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation, demonstrating her mastery of ethical fundraising practices. Her enthusiasm lies in the development and cultivation of strong partnerships that bring together individuals, corporations, and nonprofits to achieve common goals and help communities flourish. She enjoys traveling, spending time outside, fostering dogs and giving back to the community.
