Celebrating Texas Lions Camp Campers and their Families

Austin Founder Lions Club will host a picnic to honor the approximately 20 campers and their families that the club sponsored to attend Texas Lions Camp this summer. Join us for a picnic dinner (hot dogs with all the trimmings, beef and vegetarian chili, fresh fruit and ice cream) beginning at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 in the Clubhouse of Lions Municipal Golf Course, located at 2901 Enfield Road in Austin.

During the program, which will begin at 7 p.m., our campers will tell us about their TLC experiences, including their favorite activities. Parents will share the impact they see that camp had on their children.

Lions, come meet the children and families we helped go to camp. It’s going to be a fun evening. We will be on the road by 8 p.m.

Please register by Aug. 5 so that we have enough time to buy and prepare the food, and know how many tables to set up.
