Travis County's system of "justice" is unique in Texas and the question is, is it better?
About our Speaker:
After graduating from UT as an undergraduate and serving for a couple of years in the army, including Vietnam with the 1st Infantry Division, Jon went to the UT law school. pon graduation worked as a criminal prosecutor for three years before being elected to Justice of the Peace Court, Pct. 3 in 1975. Became judge of County Court No. 3 in 1977 and elected judge of the 299th District Court in 1983. In 2007 became a Senior District Judge and has served in courts in every county in Central Texas for the past 18 years. In total, he has been a judge for 50 years. President of Founder's Lions Club 1984-85.

We will be serving turkey, dressing, green bean casserole and potato casserole. These items were frozen and are leftovers from our club's Holiday Party. No Charge! Just register to let us know you're coming.
