Brianna McBride Introduced by Lion John Nyfeler
Brianna will touch on wide ranging policies and procedures in Commissioner Ann Howard’s office, from dealing with budget and finance to social justice issues.
About our Speaker:
Brianna McBride is a Policy Advisor in Travis County Commissioner Ann Howard’s office. She is a dynamic leader who is dedicated to public service. Brianna is a two-time Longhorn, earning a Master’s in Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and her Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Leadership and Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Before joining Travis County, she was an independent capacity-building consultant for local Austin non-profits.
Before working independently, Brianna was a student affairs professional at The University of Texas at Austin. She played a fundamental role in creating and innovating recruitment, retention, and success programs for underrepresented students on the 40 acres. Brianna’s work centered on making sustainable change for the people around her. Brianna is a published author and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
